The flap opens with a “push-release” pressure in the center of the panel.

Hinges with shock absorbers stop the flap from falling too quicky.

Laptops, keyboards and smartphones can be placed on the flap, allowing you to work comfortably. The flap is designed by the manufacturer to withstand loads of up to 22 lbs / 10 kg for short periods.

In the event of prolonged use with weight on top, we recommend to open the lower doors so that the flap can rest on them if necessary or under unusual heavy pressure.

When you receive your secretary, the 2 storage blocks behind the flap are already installed and screwed down. All that's left to do is fix the supplied cleats to place the small shelves inside. The holes for the cleats are designed to be slightly smaller than the cleats themselves, so that the cleats are securely held in place once they've been driven in. Use a hammer or pliers if necessary.

You can also decide to unscrew and remove 1 or 2 of these storage blocks to use all the space inside your secretary. Unscrewing takes place behind the bottom hinged doors.

The 2 bottom doors open with a “push-release” pressure on the center of the doors. A vertical interior divider panel behind the doors is automatically positioned in the middle of the KUBE. On either side of the vertical partition, a removable shelf is available for installation on cleats.

A cable duct is provided on each level of the secretary, allowing you to connect equipment from the left and right sides (see video attached). Cables exit from the rear.

The base is in solid ash wood.

The cabinet and the vertical and horizontal interior partitions are in veneer ash.

The flap is a 3-ply wood panel. 

Doors, blocks and shelves are lacquered MDF panels.

The wood we use come 100% from sustainably managed and PEFC certified French forests.

US deliveries will be made with air-freight shipping.

Our furniture will be packed with duffline and blue foam corners and protected in a wooden crate.

This crate will be delivered to the front door of your house or to the ground floor of your building.

Packaging, shipping, duties and taxes are included in the displaid price.

We offer a 10 day period to return your furniture pieces and cancel your order for standard products. However the return costs are covered by the customer.

For customized items, there is no return possibility.

The refund of the order will be done by a bank transfer within 7 days after the reception of the returned piece with a deduction of potential repair costs.
